My advocacy focuses on fostering inclusivity and breaking down societal barriers.

   Back when I was a child, I embarked on a creative endeavor by creating a YouTube channel where I uploaded singing videos of myself. One of these videos garnered over 61,000 views. However, due to the demands of my studies, I had to put my YouTube aspirations on hold. But during the pandemic, I decided to reignite my passion for content creation on my channel.

  My YouTube content primarily revolves around singing while playing the guitar. Recording songs in this way has always been a beloved hobby of mine. Sometimes, I even record my voice without the accompaniment of a guitar. Music has held a significant place in my heart. It's where I grew up, where I found my identity, and where I truly express myself and my feelings. I have a penchant for composing songs, and the video above serves as a sample of my musical expressions.

   I have big plans for the future, including releasing the songs I've written. I hope that when that day comes, it will be met with success. Of course, I owe a great deal of my inspiration and support to my parents, as well as to the friends and people who genuinely believe in me. Without them, I wouldn't have had the clarity to discover what I truly want in life. So, I am deeply thankful for all the blessings that I've received, and I attribute them to the grace of God.

     My journey from creating a YouTube channel to embracing music as a part of my identity has been a harmonious and enlightening experience. It has allowed me to share my passion with the world and connect with others who appreciate the beauty of music. This is not just about uploading videos; it's about embracing the melody of life and sharing it with those who listen.

"Harmonizing Life: My Journey Through the Arts as a Spartan Student"

   During my elementary days, I started my musical journey with the school chorale group, where I gained initial experience in competing in contests. However, it was in grade 6 when my path took an unexpected and fascinating turn. Our dedicated choir trainer, Ma'am Leni, encouraged me to take the entrance exam for the Special Program in the Arts (S.P.A) at Batasan Hills National High School in Quezon City.

   The S.P.A is a program that amalgamates the Visual Arts, Music Arts, Theater Arts, Dance Arts, Creative Writing Arts, and Media Arts. Passing the entrance exam opened the door to a world of artistic possibilities, and I became a proud Spartan specializing in Music Arts.

   In the realm of Music Arts, we were not only expected to sing but also to embrace various musical instruments. As a result, I found myself on a musical adventure, learning to play the guitar, ukulele, octavina, bandurria, tinkering with the piano, trying my hand at the flute, and even experimenting with drums. These instruments not only enriched my musical palette but also widened my artistic horizons.

   Becoming a Spartan student was a pivotal moment in my life. It introduced me to the rich tapestry of the arts, offering a holistic view that extended beyond music. The lessons I learned in the S.P.A program have left an indelible mark on my artistic soul. They have not only deepened my appreciation for the arts but have also given me the skills and insights to continue exploring various creative avenues.

   As I reflect on my journey as a Spartan student, I carry with me the melodies of my musical experiences and the harmonious blend of artistic expressions. This unique voyage has become an integral part of my identity, shaping my perspective on life and the arts. I am immensely proud to be a Spartan, and I am grateful for the invaluable lessons and experiences that have enriched my life and will continue to do so in the years to come.

A Symphony of Voices: My Journey in Singing and the Lyrico Organization at Philippine Christian University.

 

  As a HUMSS Student at Philippine Christian University, I have always believed that talents are precious gifts that should be nurtured and shared with the world. One of my most cherished talents is singing, a passion that has woven melodies through the fabric of my life. Today, I am excited to share with you my deep-rooted love for singing and my desire to become a part of the esteemed Lyrico organization at our university. 

    Singing, for me, is not just a hobby or a fleeting interest; it's a piece of my soul. I discovered this talent at a young age when I would hum along with my favorite songs on the television. It was as if the notes and lyrics resonated within me, and I knew I had to explore this further. Over the years, I have honed my vocal abilities, not just by imitating the artists I admire, but by taking formal vocal lessons and participating in school and contests performances.

     Joining Lyrico will not only be an opportunity to further develop my vocal skills but also a chance to be part of something greater than myself. The camaraderie among members and the collective pursuit of musical excellence is something that deeply appeals to me. I believe that my participation in Lyrico will not only enhance my singing abilities but also provide a platform to collaborate, learn, and inspire others who share this passion.

     In conclusion, my talent at singing is not just a hobby; it's a core aspect of my identity and an art form through which I express myself. Lyrico at Philippine Christian University represents the perfect stage for me to grow as a vocalist and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
